Singapore, 25-27 September 2025 — On September 25th, a delegation of Magister Management students from Universitas Indonesia (MM UI), accompanied by faculty members, visited the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore.

They were warmly welcomed by Mr. Andria Buchara from the Indonesian Investment Promotion Centre (IIPC) Singapore, who shared insights on Indonesia’s economic diplomacy and its efforts to attract sustainable investment.

He emphasized Singapore’s role as a global gateway for investors and introduced IIPC’s mission to channel foreign direct investment into Indonesia. In his presentation, Mr. Andria highlighted Indonesia’s vast potential to lead the region in green growth, supported by natural resources, renewable energy prospects, and sustainability-oriented government policies. Key opportunities in renewable energy, green infrastructure, sustainable agriculture, and digital innovation for low-carbon development were discussed, alongside the global shift toward Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)-driven investments.

The visit concluded with mutual appreciation, a group photo, and informal networking, leaving both parties with a shared commitment to strengthen Indonesia’s position as Southeast Asia’s “Green Frontier.”
