Bukalapak Shares Business Culture Value to MM FEB UI Students<\/strong><\/p>\n

JAKARTA –<\/strong> In adding students’ insights into the subject of Leadership and Organizational Behavior, the Master of Management FEB UI held a Guest Lecturer Lecture from practitioners who came from Bukalapak and took place at the MM Auditorium, Salemba, on Friday (12\/13\/2019).<\/p>\n

Bukalapak’s Co-Founder and President, Muhamad Fajrin Rasyid said in Bukalapak there were two important positions namely the President and CEO. They are both held to be leaders in the internal environment and can work in multitasking for the benefit of customers and create innovations to remain competitive with other start-up companies.<\/p>\n

In running the Bukalapak business, which enters its 10th year, it certainly has many challenges and obstacles. So, our foundation will survive because it is based on 3 innovative ideas from the founders of the organization, organizational experience, and internal interaction.<\/p>\n

“We instill five cultural values \u200b\u200bfor workers or partners in Bukalapak by working extra (showing good numbers \/ results, setting a good example, having a job, paying attention to quality), obsessing with customers (listening & customer friendly, data centered on customers, service excellence, empathy), talk (appreciation, open to any idea, talk if there is a problem), mutual cooperation (proactive, respecting colleagues, being fair, helping each other), if it fails then try again (experimental, take smart risks, never settle),” said Fajrin.<\/p>\n

Bukalapak e-commerce channel by targeting the amount of transactions consisting of visits \/ trade, add to cart, get paid, finish. “We are very agile in terms of frequent feedback. For example, Indonesians are more dominant online shopping during office hours,” he said.<\/p>\n

“It took years to build a great company culture, but only a few seconds to destroy it. All your efforts to build a high-performance culture will be in vain if your current decision does not support the organizational values \u200b\u200bof work culture. So, age cannot be resisted, but can be invited to be friends,” his inspiration message at the end of his material presentation. (Des)<\/p>\n
