LPEM Webinar, Thinking Ahead<\/em>: Indonesia’s Agenda of Sustainable Recovery From Covid-19<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>DEPOK \u2013 (31\/8\/2020)<\/strong>\u00a0FEB UI\u2019s Economic and Community Research Institute (LPEM), in collaboration with the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) and Katadata, held a webinar titled \u201cThinking Ahead: Indonesia\u2019s Agenda of Sustainable Recovery from<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>Covid-19\u201d, on Monday (31\/08\/2020). The event was aimed at disseminating the results of a study conducted by LPEM FEB UI. The study results will be published in a book in collaboration with the Bappenas.<\/p>\n

The webinar presented a number of speakers, including Bappenas Deputy for Maritime Affairs and Natural Resources Dr. Arifin Rudiyanto and LPEM FEB UI Director Riatu Mariatul Qibthiyyah, Ph.D.<\/p>\n

The first session focused on the sub-topic \u201cExamining the Economic Impact of COVID-19 Pandemic<\/em>\u201d <\/em>to discuss<\/em> the <\/em>socio-economic <\/em>impacts of C<\/em>o<\/em>vid-19, particularly in Indonesia, based on a comprehensive study <\/em>conducted <\/em>by LPEM FEB UI researchers <\/em>Teuku Rifki and Chairina Hanum under the guidance of FEB UI researcher and lecturer Jahen Rizki Ph.D.<\/p>\n

The next sub-topic was \u201cPutting Sustainability Agenda in the Economic Recovery Plan: What Can We Learn from Other Countries?\u201d, <\/em>which <\/em>was <\/em>presented <\/em>by speakers <\/em>Robi Kurniawan and Puspa Amri. <\/em>The <\/em>session <\/em>focused on <\/em>the initiatives <\/em>taken by <\/em>other countries <\/em>to <\/em>respond<\/em> to Covid-19 <\/em>using <\/em>sustainable instruments. The session was moderated by FEB UI researcher and lecturer <\/em>Shauqie Azar, M.PP.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Pemaparan pada sesi 2 disampaikan oleh Tim Peneliti LPEM FEB UI, Wildan Anky dan Atiqah Amanda Siregar, dengan sub-topik\u00a0\u201cSustainable Economic Recovery for Indonesia\u201d.<\/em>\u00a0Sesi kedua secara khusus membahas mengenai rekomendasi agenda pemulihan COVID-19 untuk Indonesia dengan mengimplementasikan aspek keberlanjutan dan dipandu oleh I Dewa Gede Karma Wisana, Ph.D.,\u00a0Associate Director\u00a0<\/em>dan peneliti di Lembaga Demografi FEB UI.(hjtp)<\/p>\n

The second session, titled \u201cSustainable Economic Recovery for Indonesia<\/em>,\u201d<\/em> was presented by LPEM FEB UI research team members Wildan Anky and Atiqah Amanda Siregar. The second session was dedicated to a discussion on the recommendations for Indonesia\u2019s Covid-19 recovery through sustainable measures. The session was moderated by FEB UI <\/em>Demography <\/em>Institute Associate Director and researcher <\/em>I Dewa Gede Karma Wisana, Ph.D.<\/p>\n
