Basic Training on Introduction to Computers and Microsoft Office Applications for Operational Staff at the Facility and Infrastructure (Fastur) FEB UI<\/strong><\/p>\n

DEPOK – (19-23 \/ 11\/2020)\u00a0 To improve the competence of staff in the Facilities and Infrastructure (Fastur) Division, Human Resources (HR) FEB UI held a Basic Training on Introduction to Computers and Microsoft Office Applications (Word and Excel). This training was held for 3 (three) days, on 19, 20 and 23 November 2020, at the Computer Services Computing Laboratory and Information System Network, FEB UI. Under the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic, the basic computer application training was held with strict health protocols to maintain safe distancing. In this case, the training area was filled only at\u00a0 50% of the total capacity. Both presenters and participants were required to use masks or face shields. Body temperatures were checked and devices were disinfected during training.<\/p>\n

The Basic Training on Introduction to Computers and Microsoft Office Applications (Microsoft Word and Excel), aims to introduce the importance of mastery of Information Technology and computers, especially office applications commonly used in work for Fastur staff. In the training, participants were taught to use folder and file management computer applications, as well as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel applications, to help and simplify their daily tasks. Dian Hasti Ratnaningsih, Head of Personnel FEB UI in her speech said, “Through Microsoft Office training activities (Word and Excel) they can understand the importance of information technology, increase knowledge and insight, and can utilize Information Technology Applications to develop their administrative skills.”<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the presenters in this training, Aryo Prasetyo, S.Kom., MMSI. said, “The introduction of computers and Microsoft Office applications, in this case the Microsoft Word and Excel applications, have become the basic standard programs for offices, business and education, so it is very important to learn and understand these applications, because they can be applied to the implementation of tasks, as well as work supporting tools to ensure the smooth implementation of daily work in terms of information reports and other matters.” (hjtp)<\/p>\n
