JAKARTA – The EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2018 Awards Ceremony program held on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Ritz Carlton. For the 18th time in Indonesia, the theme of this yearâs program is âFrom Entrepreneurs to tomorrowâs world market leadersâ. The EY Entrepreneur Of The Year program, the first only truly global award of its kind, was created in the United States in 1986. Today, it has expanded to more than 145 cities in 60 countries. Each year since its inception in 2001, EY, through EOY, has relentlessly searched and discovered the new generation business leaders who have fundamentally changed the competitive business landscape in Indonesia.
Unlike other business awards programs, which take place only at local or national level, the country winner will go to represent Indonesia at the international awards ceremony next year in Monte Carlo, Monaco, and vie for the worldâs most prestigious title for entrepreneurs, the EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year.
The EY Entrepreneur Of The Year program gives the opportunity to recognize and acclaim the outstanding achievement, leadership and vision of Indonesiaâs finest entrepreneurs.
The EY Entrepreneur Of The Year program is one of the worldâs most prestigious business accolades for entrepreneurs. Recognized globally, the awards honor the most outstanding entrepreneurs who inspire others with their vision, leadership and achievement.
Final determination of the category award to be presented will be decided by the panel of independent judges. One of the judges is a professor from FEB UI, He is Prof. Robert A. Simanjuntak, Ph.D.
In the end of the event, announced Alisjahbaha Haliman from PT Haldin Pacific Semesta selected as the entrepreneur of the year 2018. (Des)
