FEB UI Resolv Workshop Present Social Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation Workshop

JAKARTA – On Friday (8/8), Department of Management held a Social Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation Workshop with Mrs. Angela Hamouda from Dundalk Institute of Technology, Ireland. This workshop was held in Magister of Management building, Salemba and opened by Mrs. Yeshika Alversia, M.Sc. as representative of Magister of Management Program. The participants were lecturers and master students.
The workshop was divided into two sessions. Mrs. Angela explained about what social enterprise is, its common characteristics, the benefits, the role for the society and economy, and the source of social ideas at the first session and continued with the presentation of Teaching Case: Community Entrepreneurship: Creating Change Agent for the Community. This case won a Joint Winner at the Prestigious Innovation and Entrepreneurship Teaching Awards in Portugal, 2018 and was awarded as National Winner at the European Enterprise Promotion Awards for Investing in Entrepreneurial Skills which is going to be presented at Helsinki this November 2019. Mrs. Angela and the participants also discussed the social enterprises in Indonesia such as Du’anyam, Mapan, and Titik Winarti.
