The 3rd Annual Intensive Course Program in Urban, Transport, and Environmental Economics

DEPOK – On Monday (13/1), Department of Economics University of Indonesia and Department of Spatial Economics Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam held The 3rd Annual Intensive Course Program in Urban, Transport, and Environmental Economics in Management Auditorium, FEB UI. This intensive course program lasts on February 7th, 2020.
The lectures are given by Vid Adrison, Ph.D., Dr.Djoni Hartono, Dr. Uka Wikarya, Rus’an Nasrudin, Ph.D (lecturers from FEB UI), Francis Ostermeijer, Gerard v Mejiden, Ph.D., Prof. Henri de Groot, Ph.D. and Peter Mulder, Ph.D. (lecturers from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam). The participants in this program are not only from Economics students, but also other master and PhD students from other majors, such as Planology and Urban Design.
The courses included in this program are Mathematics and Statistics for Economics, Applied Econometrics, Microeconomic Foundation, Urban and Regional Economics, Transport Economics, and Environmental Economics. Special session for delivering information about Dutch scholarship and studying in Amsterdam is also conducted in this program.
This four-week intensive course is a fantastic opportunity for scholars, policy makers, and prospective master students to learn theoretical knowledge and practical skills to tackle complex problems related to urban, transport, and environmental issues. The lectures are conducted in two-way learning model, in which the participants receive knowledge from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam’s lecturers, and the lecturers also receive knowledge from the participants about urban in Indonesia as they never know about Indonesia before.
