Jakarta, 20–21 November 2025 – The Master of Management Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia (MM FEB UI), conducted a two-day re-accreditation assessment by the Association of MBAs (AMBA) on Thursday (20/11) and Friday (21/11). This activity forms part of the international quality assurance cycle to maintain AMBA accreditation, which MM FEB UI first obtained in 2019.

The Association of MBAs (AMBA) is a UK-based international MBA accreditation body established in 1967. AMBA’s accreditation is a hallmark of excellence–recognising only the top 2% of postgraduate business programmes across the globe. Re-accreditation is conducted periodically to ensure continuous quality across curriculum design, learning processes, facilities, institutional strategy, and stakeholder engagement.

The first day of the assessment began with a meeting attended by Dean Yulianti Abbas, Ph.D.; Vice Dean for Education, Research, and Student Affairs Professor Dr. Irwan Adi Ekaputra; Vice Dean for Resources, Ventures, and General Administration Kiki Verico, Ph.D.; and Chief Internationalization and Transformation Officer Arief Wibisono Lubis, Ph.D. From the MM FEB UI Program, Programme Director Professor Rofikoh Rokhim, Ph.D.; Programme Vice Director Arviansyah, Ph.D.; Senior Academic Faculty Member Zaafri Ananto Husodo, Ph.D.; and other faculty members were also present.

Representing AMBA was Katherine O’Flynn, Director of AMBA International Accreditation, who attended the visit along with the Assessors, Professor Luis Torras, Professor Dr. Bany Ariffin Amin Noordin, and Professor Debbie Haski-Leventhal.

The assessors reviewed MM FEB UI’s learning facilities, including classrooms, discussion rooms, and other supporting resources. They then held an internal panel meeting to examine the academic documents and reports submitted. This site visit aimed to validate the information provided in the Self-Assessment Form (SAF) and Self-Assessment Report (SAR).

In the evening, the assessors met with representatives of the advisory board and alumni, who have played an active role in the program’s ongoing development. During this session, the assessors sought insights into the strategic contributions made by these stakeholders, including their involvement in curriculum enhancement, industry linkages, and support for student development initiatives. The discussion also highlighted how feedback from alumni and the advisory board has been incorporated into program improvements, ensuring that MM FEB UI remains responsive to evolving industry and professional needs.

The second day began with a discussion on the institution and its impact. In this session, the assessors explored institutional strategies, governance, quality assurance processes, and the academic and professional impact generated by the program. They met with management teams at both the Faculty and Program levels, including Chief Assurance Officer Professor Dr. T. Ezni Balqiah, as well as staff responsible for marketing, careers and alumni, student affairs, curriculum, and admissions.

The assessors also engaged with key stakeholders such as current students, alumni, faculty members, and employers who have consistently recruited graduates from MM FEB UI, to obtain independent perspectives on the learning experience, curriculum relevance, graduate readiness, and industry engagement. They also held discussions with the MM FEB UI teaching team to evaluate teaching quality, pedagogical approaches, and the integration of business practices into coursework.

The series of assessments concluded with a preliminary feedback session delivered by the assessors to FEB UI leadership and the MM Program management. And for the next few weeks MM FEB UI will receive the results of assessment report.
