SAP TDI DUAL STUDY PROGRAM INFO SESSION

Department of Accounting Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Indonesia, in collaboration with SAP Indonesia, will launch a program named “SAP Dual Study” from SAP TDI, which have an affiliation with SAP Middle East and North Africa. Alp Geckalan, the Program Manager of SAP TDI, visited to FEB UI to inform the program details to the related stakeholders. The program was initiated by Dr. Ancella A. Hermawan, CA., MBA. as the Head of Department of Accounting.
SAP and Department of Accounting held an info session on Wednesday (13/3) in Magister Akuntansi, Salemba, and on Thursday (14/3) in Department of Accounting, Depok.
SAP Dual Study is an accounting module to obtain SAP Associate Certification. To obtain SAP Certification, candidate must pass the exam conducted by SAP, a German-based European multinational software corporation that is the market leader in enterprise software to manage business operations and customer relations. Currently, the company has more than 425,000 customers in over 180 countries and is a component of the Euro Stoxx 50 stock market index. SAP certifications help validate the expertise and experience of SAP partners, software users, customers and professionals who are looking to be placed in a SAP environment. The certification is recognized globally and is a standardized criterion for several roles and responsibilities.
The SAP Dual Study Program will give a workshop for 5 days in August 2019, exclusively for FEB UI accounting students. This program will be given to 25 selected students from FEB UI Accounting Undergraduate and Master Program, and students are expected to register before 23rd March 2019.
The agreement between Deparment of Accounting and SAP will be finalized soon. The MoU period will be valid for 2 years. The good news is the 2019’s SAP Dual Study Program will be free, but the following year the students would be charged some fee but in a special student rate.
Nevertheless, the Dual Study Program will give huge benefits for FEB UI, especially accounting students. With this program, FEB UI are preparing their graduates to excel the accounting and business industry globally, as they will have a competitive advantage to earn a job from almost million of SAP customer.
