JAKARTA – Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) of PT. Garuda Indonesia Persero, Tbk, has officially appointed Irfan Sebuahutra as the new President Director (CEO) to replace Ari Askhara. The shareholders hope that the new President Director can restore its former glory and focus on increasing company profits.
Meanwhile, the appointment of new board of directors and commissioners that 99.9% was approved by shareholders, including Triawan Munaf as President Commissioner, Chairul Tanjung as Deputy President Commissioner, Elisa Lumbatoruan as Independent Commissioner, Yenny Wahid as Independent Commissioner, and Peter F. Gontha as Commissioner.
The heavy task is on the shoulders of the new President Director for the renewal & management of red plate airline management.
