UI and TNI AD Collaborate to Produce Capable Officers through Graduate Courses

Depok, Thursday, 11/6/2020 – Universitas Indonesia and the Indonesian Army (TNI AD) have entered into a partnership deal to produce capable and quality army officers through UI’s graduate courses.
The collaboration between the two institutions was marked by the signing of a memorandum of understanding by UI Rector Prof. Ari Kuncoro, Ph.D and Army Chief of Staff General Andika Perkasa at the Assembly Hall, UI Depok Campus, Thursday (11/6/2020). Present at the event was Chairman of UI’s Board of Trustees Saleh Husin, M.Si.
On the occasion, Saleh Husin said the cooperation was expected to produce qualified army officers so that they can live up to the nation’s expectations. In addition, the MoU was expected to create a professional army that is well loved by the people. “My hope is that in the future, qualified and reliable Army officers will emerge following the completion of their graduate studies in various disciplines at UI,” said Saleh.
