Starting the event, Ancella congratulated the students who successfully passed the selection for the MAKSI-PPAk program. She also invited students to keep their spirits up until the end of the study period.
“I hope that all students who have registered and participated in this study program can prepare themselves seriously. The regular program (morning) period of study lasts for 3 semesters while the special program (evening) lasts for 4 semesters,” he said.
The MAKSI 2021 program implements a new curriculum, the same as the MAKSI 2020 program. Students must take a study load of 40 credits to graduate, 25 credits of compulsory courses and 15 credits of elective courses. In the PPAk 2021 program, students must take a study load of 21 credits.
Even though lectures run online, students still have to follow the lecture rules. For each course, students must meet attendance of all or at least 80 percent of the meetings.
Lectures apply a semester system, each semester includes 5-14 face-to-face meetings, 1 week UTS, and 1 week UAS. The number of face-to-face meetings for 3 credits is 14 meetings, 2 credits have 10 meetings, and 1 credit has 5 meetings. Students should send assignments to the lecturer’s email and MAKSI-PPAk’s email, namely Akademimaksippak1@ui.ac.id.
Every semester, students are required to register administratively and academically according to a predetermined schedule. Students who are unable to register administratively and/or academically must report to the study program at least two weeks in advance. If there is no administrative and academic registration for two consecutive semesters, the student is considered to have resigned.
Students who wish to take the exam must meet the requirements for active student status during the semester, attend at least 80 percent of the meeting, must bring a Study Plan Card (KRS) complete with a photo and stamp of the academic section, and a personal identity card (KTP/SIM/Passport).
The campus will evaluate MAKSI students in the second semester if they do not achieve a minimum GPA of 3.00 and PPAk students at the end of the study period if they do not achieve a minimum GPA of 2.50 of the study load.
Ancella said, MAKSI-PPAk stated that students pass the program if they complete the entire study load at MAKSI-PPAk FEB UI and administrative or academic obligations. For MAKSI students, they must have a minimum GPA of 3.00 (excluding the Final Work score) and a minimum Final Work score of B. PPAk students must have a minimum GPA of 2.50 and pass the CA exam. In addition, there are no courses with grades below C.
Later, MAKSI students will hold the title of M. Ak. and receive a satisfactory predicate (GPA 3.00-3.50), very satisfactory (GPA 3.51-3.75), or cum laude (GPA 3.76-4.00) if during the normal study period you do not repeat a course. Then, PPAk students will hold a CA degree and receive a satisfactory predicate (GPA 2.50-3.00), very satisfactory (GPA 3.01-3.50), or cum laude (GPA 3.51-4.00) for a normal study period of time without repeating courses.
E-Matriculation Program and CA Tryout Review
MAKSI FEB UI collaborates with Salemba Empat Publishers for the matriculation (e-matriculation) program. Novietha said, “In mid-2019, we launched Salemba Practice, a service consisting of e-learning, e-tryout, and training.”
“The publisher offers course material for Cost Accounting and Management, Financial Management, Financial Accounting, Auditing, Taxation, and Statistics. The matriculation for the 2021/2022 academic year will take place online, especially for teaching and learning activities for lecture materials, so there is no downloadable material.” he said.
Previously, participants took an online pre-test to test their prior knowledge of the material. Then, participants study the lecture material, which is available in the form of slides and practice questions. Finally, participants took an online final test to test their final understanding of the material they had learned.
Students who are interested in participating in the matriculation program can register with the campus administration or student administration and create an account on the elearning.penerbitsalemba.com platform.
The publisher also conducts training activities, such as Financial Statement Analysis, Basic Level CPA Review, and Try Out CA Review. Participants who take part in the Try Out CA Review training will receive online training by experienced resource persons. After that, participants can access training.penerbitsalemba.com containing recorded videos and training content.
Materials for the activities include Advanced Management Accounting, Advanced Financial Management, Corporate Reporting, Tax Management, Information Systems and Internal Control, and Strategic Management and Leadership. Interested students can access related information at www.penerbitsalemba.com/info-e-matriculation-maksi-ui.

After that, users are free to access various collections, ranging from mandatory books, supporting books, theses, proquest online journals, elsevier online journals, thomson reuters database, euromonitor database, to e-book texts.” he continued.
