FEB UI Held the Ceremony of Deans to 2019-2024 University of Indonesia Chancellor and 2019 Sadli Professorship Award

DEPOK – Head of the Inauguration of the New UI Chancellor, the Faculty of Economics and Business UI held the Release of the FEB UI Dean to the 2019-2024 University of Indonesia Chancellor and the 2019 Sadli Professorship Award which took place at the Dean Lobby, on Tuesday (12/03/2019).
This activity was opened by remarks from the Dean of FEB UI as well as the Chancellor of UI, remarks from the Chairperson of the Sadli Foundation Board of Management. Followed by the signing of a cooperation agreement (PKS) between the Sadli Foundation and FEB UI. Then, the awarding of Sadli Endowed Professorship Award to representatives of lecturers from each Department, namely Benedictus Raksaka Mahi from the Department of Economics, Dony Abdul Chalid from the Department of Management, and Yulianti Abbas from the Department of Accounting.
The Dean of FEB UI and the Chancellor of UI who will be inaugurated, Ari Kuncoro gave a speech that his journey when he stepped up to become the Dean of FEB UI in 2013, to win a research team, needed mindset and togetherness or teamwork. Like a manager must be able to combine two things, which can see the whole and participate on the dance floor. In addition, when he first served as Dean of FEB UI, he undertook capacity development between lecturers and employees.
The Endowment Professorship called Sadli Professorship is a contribution from the Saparinah Sadli family or Sadli Foundation for FEB UI. “Meanwhile, when I become the Chancellor of the UI, I will develop the building design at UI with the concept of interior and technology-based (IT) with greater capacity. In addition, not only the professorship award, but will innovate or develop other programs such as pioneers who can connect UI with partner universities abroad and foster long-term research,” concluded Ari Kuncoro at the end of his speech.
The Chairperson of the Sadli Foundation Board of Trustees, Syahnan Poerba said the purpose of the Sadli Endowment Professorship Program was to improve the quality and teaching-learning process at FEB UI through enhancing teaching competencies to obtain international level accreditation. Improving the quality of teaching staff HR is the spearhead of the learning process. As a center of excellence, Saparinah Sadli (Sadli Foundation’s Founder and Board of Trustees) and Ari Kuncoro want to improve UI rankings in the world to the top 200. Thus, the impact of the increase in rank is the number of lecturer research publications in the reputable journal Scopus. (Des)
