The Chief Secretary, Desti Fitriani gave a speech that currently the management of tertiary institutions in Indonesia experienced a very significant shift. UI as a legal entity university is demanded to be more creative in finding funding sources to finance interests such as physical infrastructure, human resource development, research and become the three pillars of the Tri Dharma State University. Funding, whose sources are outside the National Budget and outside the cost of education, continues to be developed in various forms, one of which comes from partnerships with companies and alumni of FEB UI.
This trend is formalized in one of the elements of assessment in the accreditation of higher education at the national level. Where will be assessed related to the funding component, the source of which is the State Budget, education costs, and contribution from companies / institutions / institutions. Meanwhile, the AACSB International accreditation assessment that FEB UI is in the process of achieving is as close as the National accreditation. Where the AACSB International accreditation body has 3 main missions, namely engagement, innovation, and impact.
“With these 2 accreditations, of course, the contribution from Avrist Assurance and FEB UI alumni, Harry Harmain Diah, to FEB UI is very valuable. It not only helps us to improve the quality of teaching to students but also helps improve the reputation of FEB UI,” said Desti.
“Our hope is that the collaboration will not only end here, but this partnership is very positive and can be continued in collaboration in the field of research, because we are required as a research university to provide outputs that contribute to society such as helping in designing strategy formulations. business required by industry. On the other hand, in education, we will also take it to the lecture room to be taught back to students. Hopefully these contribution contributions will be charity Jariyah and legacy that will not be timeless and will be emulated by the next generation,” concluded Desti in his speech.
