FEB UI students won first position in Marketing Case Competition in Marketing Fest 2020

SEMARANG – Saturday (02/22/20), Diponegoro University held a national level competition called “MARKETINGFEST 2020” with the theme “Marketing Strategy to Increase Profitability and Become Market Leaders”. This competition provides an opportunity to prove participants’ business strategy skills, increase profitability and become a market leader.
Tarikh Luthfi Simanjuntak, a 2017 FEB UI Management major, won first place in the “Marketing Case Competition” branch. The competition categories are a team, Date accompanied by Valentinus Alvin (Industrial Engineering 2017), and Siti Alya Fahlena (Business Administration Science 2017). The contestants consisted of various universities in Indonesia such as ITB, UGM, ITS, UPI, UNPAD, Jambi University, and others.
This competition activity discusses a marketing case of a product and participants are asked to resolve the case. The composition of the show consists of 2 acts. Participants are asked to complete a marketing case that is arranged in a paper. Then, 15 teams with the best papers were asked to come to the final round at Dipenogoro University to present the solutions of the compiled paper. Then, 3 best teams were selected from the marketing case presentation.
“Alhamdulillah, I am very grateful, because I had no idea that I could win because this is also my first race.” Said Date.
This activity ended with the delivery of certificates, goodie bags and cash to the winners.
