Saleh Husin: The meeting of the leaders of the UI’s four organs
DEPOK – (20/11/2020) On Friday, 20 November 2020, the leadership of Universitas Indonesia from four organs, namely the Chair of the Board of Trustees of the University of Indonesia (MWA UI) Saleh Husin; UI Rector Prof. Ari Kuncoro; Chair of the UI Professors Council (DGB) Prof. Harkristuti Harkrisnowo; and Secretary of the Academic Senate (SA) Prof. Yudo Giri Sucahyo; with Minister of Research and Technology Prof. Bambang Brojonegoro who also represented the MWA UI and Secretary of MWA UI Prof. Wiku Adisasmito held a coordination meeting at the Ministry of Research and Technology Office in a situation full of bonding and friendship.
“Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we asked to use the meeting room with strict health protocols, of course” said Saleh Husin, who now also serves as Managing Director of Sinar Mas.
Appeared to be present accompanying the meeting were UI 1st Deputy Rector Prof. Abdul Haris; UI General Secretary Dr. Agustin Kusumayati; and Prof. Anna Erliyana from the Academic Senate; as well as Prof. Indang Trihandini and Prof. Sulistyowati from the Council of Professors.
“All Praise to the Almighty, all those who attended the meeting gave constructive input and shared a positive view on how to make UI become faster and better in the future. Of course, in the middle corridor of the NKRI railroad which we all love and the various obstacles that exist, it must be fixed,” said Saleh Husin, Minister of Industry for the 2014-2016 period.
