DEPOK – (28-29/9/2021) The Management Institute of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia (LM FEB UI) in collaboration with the Indonesian Journal of Management and Entrepreneurs held an online Scientific Forum, with the topic of “Bridging Indonesian Management Science and Practice”, on Tuesday -Wednesday (28-29/9/2021). This Scientific Forum is to commemorate the 71st Anniversary of FEB UI and the 50th anniversary of the Indonesian Journal of Management and Entrepreneurs.
The Indonesian Journal of Management and Entrepreneurs (JMUI) is a multi-disciplinary business knowledge dissemination forum that aims to bridge the knowledge and practice of management and entrepreneurship in Indonesia. JMUI publishes research results that have a high impact on management and entrepreneurship theory and practice, both in the form of conceptual papers, case studies, and empirical research reports. In addition, JMUI prioritizes scientific articles that highlight local wisdom and the application of management concepts to solve problems and issues faced by business practitioners in Indonesia.
JMUI was established in 1971. At its peak in 1990-2000, JMUI had a circulation of 15,000 copies at every printing. JMUI is distributed to libraries throughout Indonesia and even stored in university libraries abroad. In 2000, JMUI obtained the A national scientific scale accreditation. However, in 2010 JMUI lost its accreditation and stopped publishing temporarily in 2014. Starting in 2020, JMUI started to be published regularly again. In 2021, JMUI will issue 3 editions and the 4th edition will be published in November 2021. In the future, JMUI plans to obtain the SINTA accreditation in 2022.
