The Faculty Academic Senate (SAF) is an organ of the Faculty that compiles, formulates, determines policies, provides considerations and supervises the implementation of academic activities at the Faculty level. SAF is the executor of academic supervision at the faculty level.
SAF membership consists of constituents of the Board of Professors, constituents of the University Academic Senate, constituents of the Faculty Leaders (Deans), Heads of Departments, and constituents of Department Representative Lecturers.
The purpose of SAF is to carry out a supervisory function in the academic implementation of the Faculty as well as to give consideration to the direction of the Faculty’s development in accordance with the vision and mission of the University and the Faculty.
Within the scope of research and innovation, SAF is obliged to give consideration to the Dean in planning of research and innovation direction as well as to supervise the management of research implemented by the Dean.
Within the scope of community service to the community inside the Faculty, SAF is obliged to provide input to the Dean to prepare plans for community service in accordance with their respective disciplines. SAF also supervises the management of the community service implementation at the Faculty.
