UI INTERNAL GRANTS

In 2016 – 2018, Universitas Indonesia held an Indexed International Publication grant scheme for UI Student Final Projects (PITTA). In 2019, the grant scheme was differentiated based on science clusters, for Science and Technology Clusters there were PITTA A and B schemes, for Social Humanities there were Doctoral Students Indexed International Publications (PITMA A) and Masters Students Indexed International Publications (PITMA B). In 2020, the International Indexed Publications (PUTI) grant scheme was created based on article outputs, namely:

UI EXTERNAL GRANTS

a. Ministry of Research and Technology/National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) Grants

Fundings from the Ministry of Research and Technology/National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) is currently managed by DITLITABMAS (Directorate of Research and Community Service). DITLITABMAS encourages and facilitates lecturers in all universities in Indonesia to conduct research and serve the community at both national and international levels.

 

The research program organized by the Ministry of Research and Technology-BRIN for university lecturers includes 3 categories, namely National Competitive Research, Decentralized Research, and Assignment Research. Each category consists of the following research scheme.

  • National Competitive Research Category
  1. Basic Research Scheme (PD)
  2. Applied Research Scheme (PT)
  3. Development Research Scheme (PP)
  4. Beginner Lecturer Research Scheme (PDP)
  5. Interuniversity Cooperation Research Scheme (PKPT)
  6. Postgraduate Research Scheme (PPS)
  • Decentralized Research Category
  1. Higher Education Basic Research Scheme (PDUPT)
  2. Higher Education Applied Research Scheme (PTUPT)
  3. Higher Education Development Research Scheme (PPUPT)
  • Assignment Research Category
  1. Higher Education Consortium Research Scheme (KRU-PT)
  2. Strategic Policy Study Scheme (KKS)
  3. World Class Research (WCR) Scheme

b. LPDP Productive Innovative Research (RISPRO) Grant

RISPRO funding is a research funding program, both competitive and initiative, that aims to increase the nation’s competitiveness through product/technology commercialization or implementation of policies/governance or publications. Specifically for Competitive RISPRO Funding, it is classified into two research schemes, namely:

  1. Commercial RISPRO is a research funding that is competitive in nature, has product/technology outputs ready to be commercialized, has manufacturing partners who will commercialize research results, and is expected to be able to deliver prototypes into new products/technology according to industry standards or that have a certification.
  2. RISPRO Policy or Governance is a research funding that is competitive in nature, has an output in the form of a policy or model, and has partners who will implement research results.
