FEB UI Management Students Won the 2019 National Business Case Competition

Management student of 2018, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia Sheila Firda Annisarahma won 1st place in the 2019 National Business Case Competition.

The 2019 National Business Case Competition is a national competition on solving case studies in Indonesia. Where the case provided by the committee is a case experienced by a company. This competition can be participated by active S1 students from all tertiary institutions in Indonesia. The theme of the National Business Case Competition 2019 is Empowering Business Enterprise Strategy through Big Data Insight.

The 2019 National Business Case Competition was organized by the Management Department of Airlangga University (18-20 / 10/2019) at Airlangga University, Surabaya.

Topics discussed by Sheila won the championship on the topic of digitizing holistically for Pertamina to be better in production, distribution and service efficiency.

“We also use a strategy of implementing holistic technology, progressive technology transformation, comprehensive education, and effective marketing and there is also a mini case from Jamu IBOE that discusses the market penetration of herbal medicine in millennials, our team uses a strategy to make IBOE Jamu have a new positioning, relevant to lifestyle, and reachable, “Sheila said.

“Happy because I was able to learn to innovate in solutions for company real cases that we meet everyday. This competition also made me learn more about company management from all lines, improve critical thinking and problem solving under pressure and get to know many friends from various universities in Indonesia, “he said.

“Hopefully, we can develop the knowledge gained by participating in other competitions and maybe if there is an opportunity to join this competition again in the following year,” Sheila concluded.
