DEPOK – The Faculty of Economics and Business UI along with the Alumni Association (ILUNI FEB UI) held an Alumni Sharing for the Faculty of Economics and Business UI Students, which took place at the FEB UI Student Center, Wednesday (5/3/2020).

The speaker of this session, Ira Noviarti, Unilever Indonesia’s Vice President Beauty & Personal Care was also a FEB UI Alumni of Accounting 90. Also participated in this event was Dr. Gede Harja Wasistha, CMA ,. Vice Dean II of FEB UI and Wiwit Handayani SE Ak, MM, MBA, Lecturers of the FEB UI Accounting Study Program. Ira Noviarti received his education at FEUI in 1991-1995, continued with being President of AIESEC FEUI 1992-1993, until he served as VP of Beauty & Personal Care at Unilever Indonesia from 2018 until now.

Ira explained how to build habits to achieve career success “There are 5 important ingredients for a successful career. First Be Passionate, be passionate in where we work, which values ​​are in line with our own values. namely through the help of a mentor, Ira found the strength to find what he really wanted to do. Second, Challenge Yourself, that is, looking for challenging opportunities by learning to take difficult tasks, and go to where you can learn and create a big impact. Third, Learn & Stay Curious, you need to spend your life with a lot of learning and learning. Fourth, Own Your Unique Talent, if you have competencies that no one else has, you will become more valuable. The last thing is, Build Network, if you want to go further in your career, it’s important to develop a network inside and outside the organization it’s not about how many people you know – but connections that need to be authentic and focus on people with whom you can share diverse levels of knowledge and experience, “she said.
