Since 1998, the Master of Accounting (MAKSI) Program and the Accountant Profession Education (PPAk.) Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia (FEB UI), established in 2002, have been pioneers in advancing professional accounting education in Indonesia. These programs have consistently produced highly competent accountants and financial leaders recognized both nationally and internationally. • Graduate Profile: Graduates will be equipped to pursue careers as academics, practitioners, auditors, consultants, and leaders across various sectors of industry, including both private and public entities.

Graduates of the Accountant Profession Education (PPAk.) Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia (FEB UI), who wish to pursue further studies in the Master of Accounting (MAKSI) Program, may be eligible for credit transfer. This enables them to reduce their overall study duration and attain two significant qualifications concurrently: the professional Chartered Accountant (CA) certification and the Master of Accounting (M.Ak.) degree.

• Active students of the MAKSI FEB UI program are eligible for competency equivalence recognition for the Chartered Accountant (CA) certification examination administered by the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI). This recognition includes waivers for the following courses:

1. Advanced Management Accounting
2. Advanced Financial Management
3. Advanced Tax Management

• Students of the PPAk. FEB UI program are also eligible for competency equivalence recognition for the CA certification examination, with waivers encompassing the following courses:

1. Advanced Management Accounting
2. Auditing & Assurance
3. Advanced Financial Management
4. Information Systems & Internal Control

In alignment with our commitment to international professional standards, graduates of the MAKSI FEB UI program are eligible to pursue the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation granted by the Institute of Certified Management Accountants (Australia). Eligibility is contingent upon achieving a minimum grade of B in the designated courses and fulfilling the annually required membership fee.

Students of the MAKSI FEB UI program are eligible to pursue an accelerated pathway toward the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation. This pathway allows graduates to concurrently attain an academic degree and an internationally recognized professional certification. MAKSI FEB UI students are eligible for exemptions from two of the sixteen CIMA examinations, specifically the Management Case Study Exam and the Strategic Case Study Exam.

For prospective students seeking to concurrently obtain a master’s degree in accounting (M.Ak.) and the Chartered Accountant (CA) certification, FEB UI offers an exclusive accelerated pathway:

1. Enroll in the Master of Accounting (MAKSI) Program.
2. Proceed with registration for the Professional Education Program for Accountants (PPAk.).
3. Receive recognition of competency equivalence for a total of five CA examination modules, thereby enabling

the completion of only two additional advanced-level examinations—namely, Corporate Reporting and Strategic Management & Leadership

• The Master of Accounting (MAKSI) Program has been granted an “Unggul” (Excellent) accreditation rating in accordance with Decree No. 725/DE/A.5/AR.10/IX/2023 issued by LAMEMBA.
• Similarly, the Accountant Profession Education (PPAk.) Program has also been awarded an “Unggul” (Excellent) accreditation rating, as per Decree No. 2260/DE/A.5/AR.10/V/2025 issued by LAMEMBA.
