MASTER PROGRAM IN ACCOUNTING

Master of Accounting Study Program (MAKSI) FEB UI is Indonesia’s first professional-oriented master of accounting program. Since its establishment in 1998, MAKSI FEB UI has remained steadfast in educating accountants and information professionals as ‘whole’ people to develop the accounting discipline to help form good public & corporate governance in a “global civil society”.

The Professional Accounting Education (PPAk.) FEB UI Study Program is a professional program that prepares students to take the Chartered Accounting (CA) exam held by the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI). PPAk Study Program. FEB UI is also the first PPAk organizer in Indonesia.

MAKSI – PPAk. Study Program offers the following education program options:

  • MAKSI Program
  • PPAk Program.
  • MAKSI – PPAk Program.

In addition to the MAKSI program and the PPAk program, there is also the MAKSI-PPAk program which provides opportunities for prospective students who want to obtain two degrees, namely the Accountant (Ak.) and Master of Accounting (M.Ak.) degrees.

MAKSI – PPAk program is a program that began to be offered in the Spring Semester of the 2008/2009 Academic Year. This program provides an opportunity for prospective students who want to obtain a Master of Accounting (M.Ak.) and take the Chartered Accounting (CA) exam without having to take both programs separately, with a faster study period and cheaper tuition fees.

Students of MAKSI-PPAk program. FEB UI will interact and discuss with teaching staff who are experienced practitioners and academics in their fields. Students can also enjoy the available facilities, such as computing laboratories, discussion rooms, and libraries with complete collections with wireless internet connections.

The Master of Accounting Study Program has the highest accreditation A with BANPT Decree No. 2682/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/M/IX/2018 dated September 25, 2018.

The Professional Accountant Study Program meets the requirements of accreditation rank A based on BAN-PT Decree, No. 3775/SK/BAN-PT/Ak-PPJ/PP/VII/2020.

The MAKSI Study Program curriculum is a competency-based curriculum that is arranged in an integrated, structured, and in line with the needs of the business world, Government, and education in Indonesia.
